ABOUT CINDON BURMESE

My name is Cindy Grube.  My husband, Don, and I are proudly owned by Burmese cats. We met our first Burmese 9 years ago, an adult we adopted from a breeder.  PJ stole our hearts with his affectionate nature and his beauty.  Like potato chips, one was not enough.  A kitten followed a couple of years later.  I began showing the kitten and was hooked into the cat fancy world.  After showing and sharing our home with the breed for two more years, we started breeding sable American Burmese under the guidance of a breeder mentor.  We worked with our American Burmese lines for over two years.  We made a decision to retire our American stud and two queens, and we began anew in the summer of 2004 with European Burmese.  We chose the browns because we consider brown to be one of the most lovely colors of the Burmese.

Our European Burmese have been chosen for health and temperament.  We do not mix the European Burmese with the American Burmese and will never do so. 

We keep our cattery small so that quality time may be spent with the adults and especially the kittens.  The kittens are raised underfoot in a home environment.  

Our kittens are handled from the day they are born and are well socialized by the time they leave us at the age of 12 to 14 weeks.  We guarantee the health of our kittens.  We do require a written contract that contains terms that are for the protection of the kitten. 

Our cats and kittens are registered with The Cat Fancier's Association.  I am a member of the World Wide European Burmese Society and the CFA European Burmese Breed Council.
